Hi, I was going to post some pics of more dolls. But we have a fire in our back yard, so to speak. It has grown from 5 acres Friday, to over 3,000 today. My son is a volunteer firefighter and he is right in the middle of it. He called and said they are starting evacuations and that 3 firemen are down, just what I need to hear. Please keep him in your prayers, that he stays safe. We are now trying to decide how much we can get in the cars and what to take.
This is a view from the car on the way home, about 6 miles out. Cars are covered in ash.
This is a view from about 4 miles out, the fire is in the swamp and is now threatening homes, there are reports of some houses burning. This is where the fire is, back in the swamp, they can't get back. It is now burning houses on the edges of the swamp.
This is a view from my front yard.
Gotta go, still need to decide what to take and where to go.
Ooh-keep safe Cyndy! I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
