Wow, Summer is half over!

Hi everyone, it has been awhile, I don't know where time is going.  Since hubby retired we have been getting a lot of projects done- we got the house painted ....
Hubby and kitty sit on the porch waiting for me everyday when I come home from work
I have been working on a lot of holiday and fall items, shows will be here before you know it, these are some tree toppers made on paper mache cones.
 lots of little raggedies
Arnie took a pottery class, as some of you know, he loves those ugly face jugs.  He is making a piggy bank
His is the one with tusks, they still have to be fired and glazed
Worked on some felt items this weekend, I love working with woolfelt and making pennyrugs
We are definitely in the middle of summer, temps in the high 90's, humitures -- in the 100's.  It is nice for drying dolls, you can put them outside in the sun and they are dry in 5 minutes or less.  I just keep my fingers crossed no dog comes in the yard and takes off with one.

Hoping everyone is enjoying their summer and you have a great weeik!

My Wins ....

Wow, it has been awhile.  Time seems to be flying by.  I have been super busy with orders, a big thank you to everyone.

I was the lucky winner of 2 giveaways.  I won the pattern from Vicky of Vicky-MyArt, she made the rabbit and had 2 giveaways, I won the pattern,  Thank you, Vicky  and I won the little doll, snowflake ornie and yo-yo coaster from Debbie of Barefoot Primitives, I love the little doll, thank you, Debbie.

Been working on a lot of dolls, I think I have made over 100 so far this year.  On my second bolt of muslin.

My cat loves to sleep on or near my WIPs, everynight he is stretched out, snoring away.
A pattern I got from Overstock Crafts on FB,an old Ragg Baggs Babys pattern, if you haven't checked that site out, you should, you get some awesome deals.  People sell their unwanted craft supplies. It is addicting!
We had a great visit with my sister-in-law and her son, he was on his way home from college and they stopped to visit for a few days.
Hope everyone has a great week.

Popping in for a quick visit

It's been awhile, it's almost APRIL!, we have a cold week for us, but supposed to be in the 70's the next few days, spring has sprung!

We went to a few craft shows, one in Savannah, it rained the whole day, but we braved the weather and after visiting the craft show went to several antique stores, we found a few bargains.
I have been busy working on new dolls, these are some of my favorites
 Some more spring dolls
This was a custom order for a customer, I used the pilgrim couple (Sweet Meadows FArm) and made them into an Irish couple.
And I have started on Christmas, these are all tree toppers, made on top of a paper mache cone.
This is a new pattern for me, A Cat and the Fiddle design, I am going to see If I can make a man pilgrim to go with her and a pumpkin or two.
 A batch of nurses .....
And I was the lucky winner of Tonya's Easter egg give-away.    Here they are displayed with an win from Pat, my little dollie.
More Christmas, I won the pattern for the longjohns, by sharing a page on FB, Dee Duncan Folkart.
More Sock Monkey Annies, the little felt monkeys I made up to go with them.
A prim couple I just finished up, using a Raggedy Old Annies Pattern.

We're getting ready to take my son and his girlfriend, and my nephew, Zack, who is up for Easter to the barbeque place.   Tomorrow we are doing a turkey, so the cat is extremely happy, as he loves turkey.  I am also going to surprise them with Easter baskets tomorrow, after all you are  never too old for the Easter Bunny!   Happy Easter, everyone.
