Great Weekend Show!

Well, we are back from our craft show in Moultrie, Ga. and all I can say is WOW!  Saturday was great, wall to wall people and hey were buying, from 9-2, it was a steady line of people waiting to pay.  We had record sales, but of course, Sunday was a typical Sunday, very slow. I came home with just one bin of leftovers.  Mary and I, we usually have our board up on crates, but they side door was open and the wind was gusty, so we had to lower it this year.  Already thinking on how we are going to change the display up next year.

Some of my dolls, they all have new homes
Notice, the sign, Dee of Ice House Crafts and I were in a swap and she made me this sign.  I love it.
Snowmen and monkeys

Mary's hubby and one of her pink sock monkeys.  She sold all of her sock monkeys.
We  meet up with Maxie and Jerry of Prims and Annies.  They do great stuff!
Debbie of Debbies Dodads came by to shop.
Another pic of me with Maxie in our booth
Meet some new prim crafters, Kerri and Melissa

This is a couple that we met when we first started doing craft shows 15 years or so ago, Pat and Charles Revels.  We found them again at this show a few years ago. They do wooden toys.
And my ornies from the Ornie Swap that Marie of Primitives by Olde Lady Morgan.  They are great. The snowmen wool ornies are from Trace of Granny Trace Scraps and Squares, The wax scented Santa by Amy of Bumblebee Lane Primitives and the Star by Melissa.  And Marie included a little surprise, a bag of chocolate.  Thank you, Marie for hosting and the sweet surprise.
Hope everyone has a great week, Cyndy

  3. The Revels were our neighbors....such a sweet couple...it's so nice to have good neighbors at a craft show. We had a very profitable show too..the people were definitely out to shop and buy. We have been doing this show over 10 years and I have never seen empty spaces at the Holiday Show...there were over 30 this weekend.
    Have a great week

  12. I really liked your set-up but I know how it is, we are constantly wanting to make it better. I'm so glad to hear your good report about sales. That's what we all want, not just for ourselves but all exhibitors. I used some foam boards in my little set-up, and they worked well. I got them at Joann Fabrics. Your things are all beautiful. Kiss your left-overs and tell them they are lovely too.

  13. Hi Cyndy, Connie with Merritt Pottery, I think that's her name, tried several years to get me to come to her pottery show. At that time, all they had was pottery..like 15 vendors... One you may be intrested in and I think you would do well, is Bradley's Fun Day in Tallahassee, FL It is usually the weekend before Thanksgiving, one day only, which is subject to changed due to Florida State Football ...but you would know far enough in advance when it is. It would be closer to where you live.
    Have a great week,
    Maxie
