This is what I ended up with, a rocker for displaying dolls, a wire/wood dispaly rack, an enamel ware plate and a wooly sheep sign.
My dolls fit perfectly on this rocker.
We plan to go back next month and see what else we can find. Mary gave up shopping for Lent and couldn't buy anything today, just had to look and hope someone would "gift" her. I think she got gifted once
I won a give-away, sponsored by Prim Pals. A little silhouette box from Karen of Barely There Primtive Bear. Thank you Karen! and Prim Pals.
I am also gauging interest to see if anyone would be interested in a one-on-one doll/bear swap with me. If you are, please email me. I have a few dolls that I have received in swaps and would like to add a couple more, I will probably limit to the first five who email me, but who knows.
I hope everyone has a good "rest" of the weekend. Cyndy
Wow! To give up shopping for Lent...that's some dedication especially when at a thrift store! Looks like a fun group to shop with.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like you all had a very fun day! Love the little bench you found. Congratulations on winning one of the giveaway prizes over on the Prim Pal forum! We love having you there with us! I wish I was more talented in the doll department cause I would love to swap with you if I was. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I love the wooly sheep. Here in Alabama, we call "junkin" "scrappin" and it is so fun. The Prince Albert tin, is that an old snuff box? I have been looking for one a long time.
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun-fun-fun...will definitely stop there when we are in the area...it's a little too far for a one day trip from where I live. Love the cute little rocking chair..dolls look so sweet sitting in it. The wood/wire item... interesting...what was it intended for when it was built?...some type of cage?
