New Give-away and Other Things I have been working on this week

Our 2nd give-away
Hi, we are offering another give-away for fall.  This one is a SIMPLIFY pennyrug hanging and a cloth pumpkin and a few surprises, just not sure what those will be, yet.  To enter you must be a follower of our blog, then post a comment saying you would like to be entered in the giveaway.  If you have a blog and post this on your blog or website, you will receive another chance to win. This contest will end on Sept. 13th.

I have been busy working on Christmas ornies and dolls for the fall shows.    I love making prim ornaments.  The reindeer from Old Annie Primitives is new for me this year and I am really happy with the way they turned out. I made about 75 canes last year for my first show, they sold out within the first hour, everyone kept coming back wanting more, so hopefully I will have enough this year.

I started making these about 3 years ago, picked up some of the battery operated candles at the dollar store after Christmas.  I paint them with a mixture of modpodge and brown paint, then sprinkle with cinnamon and then add greenery.  These always sell well.
