It's been almost a month ... Time is Flying...

I hope everyone had a Happy Valentines Day.  It seems like forever since I posted. I have busy working on dolls and more dolls.  I have had alot of order, so I am staying superbusy!    Hubby has been retired for 2 weeks, he definitely is going to have to find something to do!!!!!

We are headed to Savannah this weekend, meeting up with my brother-in-law and his wife.  There is a Spring craft show that we are going to, I have never been to a spring show, so hoping it is a good one.  There is a good chance of rain, so we are keeping our fingers crossed.

Here are some of the dolls I have been working on,  pink-haired little Annies

Ballerinas have been super popular right now ....
A new patriotic Annie
Some Mamas and their baby dolls
 these guys are popular too
 A custom Valentine's order
I love the colors on this one--little poodle, compliments of Lil Raggedy Angie
I am busy planning the 2nd annual craft show at our library,  I just sent applications out today, hoping it will be bigger than last year.  Last year we had 75+ for our first show and it was packed.

We have been having weird weather, in the 20's one night, then 80 the next day.  Everyone is hacking with the pollen, it is gonna be a long allergy season.

Hope everyone has a great week!

  2. It has been strange weather, hasn't it? Our grass was so pretty and green...now it has been nipped by the frost again. I love your pretty Annie dolls! The girls holding little dolls sure are sweet!

  8. Hi Cyndy, you have been busy...I thought hubby would be cleaning house, cooking maybe even stuffing dolls..so you would come home from work and enjoy a leisurely meal...lol..maybe he would even clean up the kitchen...after all it's not hard work..or so they(men)think.I was in my "spring cleaning" mood yesterday. I am working on a big order..black mammy doll, pumpkin head doll and black mammy vacuum cover and my customer is so patient, so I don't have to rush-rush to get it done. Things have changed around here since we got the boxer,Belle, actually I think she would sit with me all day..preferably in my lap..after all she's only 48 lbs but is afraid of a 7 pound cat...she demands attention..and I am not a dog lover and definitely not a dog in the house person..but I can't resist that wrinkled up face and big brown eyes..I am a cat lover..but I bring her in the craft room and kitchen a couple hours a day.. and those are the only two rooms she is allowed in.
Well I am in the sewing mood today so off I go ..Take Care
    Smiles,
    Maxie
